Cleeve Court is a group of architect designed Mid-Century homes in Streatley, West Berkshire.
There are ten open plan split level houses in two terraces and a larger detached house. The residents enjoy exclusive use of 10 acres of communal gardens and woodland. Each of the ten houses has reserved use of a 30 ft mooring on the private inlet.
Cleeve Court has attracted residents from a variety of professional and business backgrounds who share an interest in modern architecture and in preserving the environment of the estate.
Through the leaseholders’ association the owners actively engage in the management of the estate with the resident freeholder.
The houses were developed in 1972 on the site of the original Cleeve Court built for Sir William Ingram, chief proprietor of “The Illustrated London News” by the Reading family of architects, Morris & Son, in 1900.
